During the Winter of 2018, Reinaldo developed an experimental course "Unconventional Printmaking" with the idea of bringing together students from different majors to create a large printed mural in Eastern Washington University.
By February 20th 8 students from Art & Design, VCD and English departments came together to craft a 28x8ft relief print that later that year was installed at different campuses in the North West. Eastern Washington University, University of Idaho and Washington State University are the proud new home of this ambitious project as part of the Rocky Mountain Printmaking Alliance Conference celebrated in April.
Thanks so much to EWU art department for their support on this project. Also thanks to Margot Castevens for helping us during the printing process. Extended thanks to RMPA, UofI, WSU and GAMBLIN for donating the inks used for this project.
